San Antonio Shooting: Two men injured in early Tuesday morning shooting at the Westwood Plaza Apartments.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, two individuals were shot at a West Side apartment complex early on Tuesday and were then transferred to a nearby hospital.
Officers were summoned at 12:15 a.m. to the Westwood Plaza Apartments, which are located in the 2600 block of Westward Drive, close to Military Drive and Highway 90.
Police claim that two males, one in his 30s and the other in his 40s, were shot in the leg after going to check on a person at another apartment complex.
According to the police, the suspect came out of another unit as the two guys were approaching the other building, asked them a few questions, and then opened fire.
The injured men were transported by ambulance to University Hospital, where they were last seen expected to make a full recovery.
Police reported that the suspect escaped on foot and has not been located. The call was answered by the San Antonio Fire Department, the San Antonio Police Department, and EMS.
According to authorities, the shooting is still under investigation.
