On May 8 at around 3:49 p.m., Toronto police responded to a complaint for a person in distress in the vicinity of Yonge Street and Byng Avenue.
When police arrived, they discovered a man and a woman in front of a house with injuries that were consistent with a fall. They were both declared dead at the spot, according to the police.
Siyue Wang, a 23-year-old resident of the York Region, has been named as the victim.
According to homicide investigators, this was a murder-suicide. Police are not looking for anyone else. TPS declared that no additional details would be disclosed.
