Robert Lloyd and Patricia Obituary News: Elderly Couple Found dead in their Summer Home in Shropshire
On June 1, Robert Lloyd, 84, and his wife Patricia, 80, were discovered dead at their vacation home.
West Mercia Police were summoned to Newbrook Drive in Bayston Hill, close to Shrewsbury, at around 11 p.m. The terminally sick couple was found there; police have now formally released the couple’s identity.
Their daughter said that while Patricia had dementia and a deadly brain tumor, Robert had been diagnosed with cancer.
Sarah Davies, the couple’s daughter, claimed that they “couldn’t bear the thought of one not being there to support the other.”
The couple will be “greatly missed” by their family and several close friends, she continued.
“Mum and Dad were the most amazing parents I could have asked for. They were a loving, committed couple married for more than 50 years.”
She continued, “They are now at peace and we will all cherish our memories of them over the years, remembering them fondly together, at home in their much-loved summer house, looking at their beautiful garden.”
