Two bodies were discovered floating in the Llano River in Kingsland on Saturday. Investigations into the deaths as homicides have been launched by authorities.
The LCSO reported that at around 10:10 on Saturday morning, a 911 call was made about two people who were found face down in the water. The incident was then attended by deputies and game wardens from Texas Parks and Wildlife.
Investigators from the LCSO and Texas Rangers were dispatched to the scene when it was determined that the two victims had died.
The two fatalities were being investigated as homicides, according to officials.
Mark Baldwin and Kellie Leeann McCormick, both of Kingsland, were the victims, according to the LCSO.
According to LCSO, no one has been detained in connection with the inquiry, and no suspect information is currently known.
This occurrence marks the second inquiry into two homicides in Llano County in 2023. A previous event took place in January.
