The star running back from Cincinnati’s Colerain High School, Simpson, committed to Michigan despite receiving numerous offers from his home state of Ohio. According to records, Simpson made an appearance in four games in 2006, during which he managed to rush for 11 yards and also made two tackles on defense. The individual subsequently transferred to the University of California.
In the early-2000s, Colerain was transformed into a national powerhouse with the assistance of Mister Simpson. In 2003, he rushed for 1,310 yards and scored 24 touchdowns, ultimately leading his team to a perfect 15-0 season and a state championship. In the subsequent year, he accumulated a total of 1,658 yards and scored 23 touchdowns through rushing.
