Lorenzo “Renzo” Smith and Shawn Jackson Death | Richmond Shooter Identified: Following Huguenot High School’s graduation ceremony, Lorenzo “Renzo” Smith, 36, and Shawn Jackson, 18, were shot and killed outside Richmond’s Altria Theater on Tuesday night.
Two individuals were killed and numerous more were hurt during a mass shooting that happened during Huguenot High School’s graduation ceremony at the Altria Theater on Tuesday night in Richmond.
Amari Ty-Jon Pollard, 19, is accused with two counts of second-degree murder in connection with the event, according to court documents. He will be jailed without bond while more legal action is taken. The status hearing in court for Pollard is set for June 21.
According to police, five more persons were shot. Non-life-threatening injuries have been sustained by a 14-year-old boy, a 32-year-old guy, a 55-year-old man, and a 58-year-old man. A 31-year-old man suffers serious gunshot wounds.
During the event, Jackson’s nine-year-old sister was also struck by a car. After receiving care, she was later allowed to leave the hospital.
Other than gunshot wounds, several other people were injured. While another nine people received treatment for anxiety and minor injuries, two persons were hurt after falling.
