Cole McBee Motorcycle Accident – Obituary News: Motorcyclist dies from injuries sustained in Des Moines crash.
23-year-old Cole McBee has died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on the northeast side of Des Moines early Sunday, police confirmed.
According to police, patrol officers and the Des Moines Fire Department responded to a report of a crash near 27th Street and East Douglas Avenue at approximately 12:08 a.m. on Sunday, October 30.
The motorcyclist, McBee, was located by emergency personnel with severe wounds. McBee was taken to a nearby hospital before being moved to one in Iowa City, where he passed away early on Tuesday morning.
According to the police, the investigation shows that the motorcyclist was moving quickly eastbound on Douglas Avenue. The motorcycle and the car collided as the car turned into Douglas Avenue from 27th Street. The car’s driver received minor injuries treatment at a nearby hospital.
