Brent Hospelhorn Arrest: Watch viral TikTok video of Arizona construction company owner yell at female staff.
A video shared on TikTok of the owner of a construction firm in Arizona striking a female employee across the face and hurling obscenities at her for scratching a cabinet led to charges of assault against him.
The manager who was captured on camera belligerently ranting at the soft-spoken woman and other employees on the job site in North Phoenix on Tuesday has been identified by Phoenix police as Brent Hospelhorn, 46.
Although the tape, which was posted to a female coworker’s TikTok account, has not been identified as his victim, it has received a lot of shares.
Indignant social media users demanded to know why Hospelhorn wasn’t in jail and accused police of taking no action when he was arrested, cited, and freed.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the police claimed that the assertions of a “lack of action” on the part of social media users were untrue and that they were promoting a “inaccurate narrative.” Hospelhorn wasn’t lodged in a jail, but police claimed they are “recommending charges” against the man.
According to authorities, the incident took place at a site under construction near Deer Valley Drive and 56th Street in north Phoenix at around 12:30 p.m.
According to online records, Hospelhorn operates a Scottsdale construction firm called BPH Construction LLP. He was heard screaming obscenities at the workers on the project site.
‘Leave! He points his finger in the direction of the guy filming the video and shouts, “Get the f*** out of my building immediately.”
Hospelhorn reaches out and hits a woman who is standing off to the side while saying “you f****** b*tch,” incensed.
The camera concentrates on Hospelhorn as he walks away, making it difficult to observe how the woman responds in the aftermath.
