Two vehicles collided on Saturday afternoon in northeast Travis County, leaving one person dead and two others hurt.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS, the collision happened between the 17800 and 18255 blocks of N. FM 973, close to the intersection of Brita Olson, just before 4 p.m.
Following the incident, ATCEMS reported that a vehicle rescue was in progress. CPR was performed by medical professionals on one of the accident victims.
On the spot, one adult was identified as deceased.
First responders from Pflugerville evacuated a third person with non-life-threatening injuries to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, while STAR Flight flew a second person to Dell Seton Medical Center with potentially serious injuries.
