Christopher Lucas Obituary: Pittsburgh teen killed in car-pedestrian collision in Ross Township.
A teenager who died after he was hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of North Hills Village shopping center on Saturday evening is identified as 15-year-old Christopher Lucas from Pittsburgh.
Police, medical personnel, and fire units were dispatched to the 4800 block of McKnight Road at roughly 4:39 p.m., according to Allegheny County dispatchers.
The teen was struck while standing in the parking lot, according to Ross Township police, and was declared dead at the site.
According to the authorities, the car’s driver is helping with the inquiry.
Police don’t think that the collision was caused by alcohol or drugs.
