Eunice Spry; Where is Eunice Spry from Tewkesbury today? ‘Evil Foster Mum’
Jehovah’s Witness Eunice Spry, a British citizen from Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire, was found guilty of 26 counts of child abuse against foster children in April 2007. She received a 14-year prison term and was required to pay £80,000 in court fees. The court referred to Spry’s case as the “worst case in his 40 years of practicing law” when imposing the sentence.
The foster mother scratched their faces with sandpaper, confined two of them in a room for a month while they were both naked, made the three children in her care (two foster, one adoptive) consume their own feces and vomit. Her adopted daughter, two of her foster kids, and both of her foster kids have written books on their early years. Christopher Spry, her oldest foster child and “Child C,” wrote a book with the same title about his time growing up with Eunice Spry.
Deliver Me From Evil was written by Alloma Gilbert, her foster daughter. Tortured was released by Victoria Spry in April 2015.
