On October 29, 1991, James Lindberg killed James Alan Arthur in cold blood before escaping and killing himself in a neighboring parking lot. Residents who had heard the gunfire led the police to the parking lot when they got there, where they discovered Lindberg bleeding from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head. He was still alive when authorities moved him to a nearby hospital, but his injuries were too severe. The same day, Lindberg passed away, and the police decided to end their inquiry.
James Alan Arthur Death: How Did He Die?
James Alan Arthur was a well-liked member of his neighborhood and well-known for being Stacy Arthur’s husband. She was named Mrs. Ohio in 1990 and was selected as the “Playboy” Playmate of the Month for January 1991. The latter described her spouse as a nice and loving person who enjoyed helping people and was constantly eager to meet new acquaintances. The former model added that James never once expressed jealousy toward her profession but rather encouraged and assisted her whenever feasible. Even though Stacy referred to her spouse as the “wing beneath her wings,” she was saddened by his unexpected death.
On October 29, 1991, occupants of the Bellefontaine apartment building saw a stranger prowling the area. Residents later reported they thought the man was dealing with mental health issues because of the man’s apparent desire to meet James. Nevertheless, James’s day began as usual, and he made the decision to go for a quick drive in his car. But as soon as the victim climbed into the car and attempted to leave the building, the stranger attacked him, pulled a revolver, and shot him twice in the head.
James managed to exit the vehicle despite being shot in the hand and face before eluding his assailant. Even so, the stranger shot the victim twice more in the back right away, causing him to collapse to the ground and bleed heavily. The gunshots naturally disturbed the complex’s inhabitants, who then called the police and requested assistance after seeing James unconscious and covered in blood on the street. Sadly, it was too late; he was quickly pronounced dead. His four bullet wounds were the cause of his death, according to an autopsy.
