Alexandria Cress Borys, who was a nursing student and a mother of one, has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting outside Kroger grocery store in South Carolina on February 14, 2023.
According to the station, her husband, Tyler Borys, has verified that his wife was murdered on February 14 in a parking lot in Irmo, South Carolina, in front of the couple’s two children, a toddler and an infant. Both of the children were in the car at the time of the shooting.
According to the outlet, he recalled Alexandria, 26, as the “best wife you could ever ask for,” and a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for a memorial described her as a “beautiful woman, wonderful mother, compassionate wife, trusting friend, and so, so much more.” Alexandria had been married for only two years.
The description of the fundraiser states, “Alexandria was truly stolen from us much too soon.”
After investigators say she fled the site of the fatal Valentine’s Day encounter in South Carolina, a woman who is accused of killing shooting a much-loved mother in a grocery store parking lot following an argument has turned herself in. The incident allegedly occurred on Valentine’s Day.
Irmo Police Chief Bobby Dale stated in a statement that “unfortunately, this is a circumstance where tempers rose, and someone allowed emotions get the best of them.” He said that the two women did not know each other previous to the incident.
According to the records of the jail, Christina Harrison is being held on suspicion of murder, unlawful carrying of a pistol, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
There is no indication that Harrison, who is 23 years old, has entered a plea to the accusations against her or hired an attorney to comment on her behalf.
