According to the New York City medical examiner, Kathryn Marie Gallagher, 35, who was found dead in her apartment in July, died from a fatal combination of fentanyl and alcohol.
In May of last year, she posted on Facebook, “I always enjoy that I can’t give anything away too quickly because it’s sooooo blackkk.”
In response to a 911 call, the police discovered Kathryn Marie Gallagher on July 24, a little over a month before her 36th birthday, unconscious in her bed at her Lower East Side apartment. She showed no evident symptoms of trauma, and at the spot, authorities declared her dead. The medical examiner determined that she passed away from acute intoxication brought on by a combination of fentanyl, p-pluorofentanyl, and ethanol on Friday, and the police ruled her death a homicide.
The police released a statement saying, “There have been no arrests, and the investigation is still active.
According to numerous people informed on the inquiry, detectives are examining whether Ms. Gallagher was knowingly given a deadly combination of narcotics by someone intending to rob her.
