Following a terrible vehicle accident on the way home from work, Dr. Punam Krishan of BBC Morning Live has warned people to “never take anything or anyone for granted.” On Friday, March 31, the Physician, who frequently joins Welsh broadcaster Gethin Jones on the breakfast show, will give her insight on how to handle an accident both during and after it has occurred.
The official BBC Morning Live Twitter feed announced the news by writing: “Dr. Punam had the harrowing experience of being in a vehicle crash last week on her way home. She is now doing well and will be here on Friday to give some crucial advice on how to handle the aftermath of an accident.
After her “life flashed before her eyes,” Dr. Punam posted a moving and dramatic account of what transpired on Instagram, pleading with followers not to take anything for granted. She addressed her 40,000 followers in a post that featured a photo of several floral bouquets left by well-wishers: “One minute you may be sailing along, enjoying your best life, and the next you could watch it all flash before your eyes. This is exactly occurred to me a few days ago when my car aquaplaned across the lanes of a busy highway at 70 mph, sending me straight into the center reservation. I completely lost control of everything.
