The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office reported that a street racing accident occurred in Pontiac on Thursday night, injuring three people. One person reportedly suffered serious injuries.
The OCSO claims that two vehicles were street racing when they collided with a third vehicle performing a doughnut.
According to deputies, a Dodge Challenger being driven by a 24-year-old St. Clair Shores man was struck by a 2016 Ford Focus being driven by a 19-year-old from Waterford Township and an 18-year-old from Jackson as they were racing on E. South Blvd.
According to police, the Challenger was reported stolen from Toledo and hit at a high rate of speed by the Focus and then the Nissan.
Because to his lack of a seatbelt, the Challenger’s driver was ejected from the vehicle. His situation is critical.
The driver of the Focus received minor medical attention while the man and passenger in the Nissan were sent to the hospital.
