Scott Kelley Obituary News: Pawnee County man killed alongside three others in friday highway 48 crash.
According to an online obituary on Sunday, April 23, 2023, Scott Kelley has passed away unexpectedly. However, his cause of death was not disclosed.

On Friday, April 21st at about 10:00 p.m. Scott Kelley was involved in a crash on Highway 48 that took his life and the life of three others.
The family tells us Scott was a Military man who served several tours of duty in Iraq. Scott also worked as an EMT/paramedic at Tinker Airforce base in Midwest City.
We are told Scott was a true friend to everyone that knew him. His family and friends considered him a hero as did many that served with him.
Scott was was a dedicated father of three who loved spending as much time as he could with his children.
Scott enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend as well. Scott’s family tell us she was with him at the time of the crash and she succumbed at the scene.
Scott loved helping and serving others. He loved his community and his country and fought for both.
What we’ve learned about Scott, from his family and friends, Scott was a true patriot with a heart of gold.
Willing to help anyone, never meeting a stranger, and living with courage, honor, duty, and love in his heart.
The Sheriff’s Office is not investigating this crash as the Oklahoma Highway Patrol investigates all crashes on county roads and on state highways. There is still much we do not know. We do know lots of speculation is rampant and lots of questions have yet to be answered.
We know the Oklahoma Highway Patrol is working to provide those answers as quickly and as efficiently as possible. We have heard many rumors about what may have happened but we do not yet know or have solid facts. We hope those answers will come in the coming days.
We are sadden by the loss of Scott and our thoughts are prayers are with him and his family in this very difficult time. His death is a tragedy and will be felt by everyone in Oklahoma. We’ve lost a dedicated servant of the people. Everyone at the Sheriff’s Office is saddened we never met this hero. We offer our thoughts are prayers to his family and friends. We offer our condolences and prayers to the families and loved ones of the other three victims who are dealing with the pain of this tragedy.
