Jena Marie Flammia Motorcycle Accident: Victim identified in fatal Burlington, CT motorcycle accident.
According to state police, a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred in Burlington involved a 23-year-old lady as the victim.
She was identified by the police as Burlington native Jena Marie Flammia. Just before 11:15 p.m. on May 6, according to state police, a Subaru Xv Crosstrek’s driver turned left onto Belden Road from Route 4 east and collided with a Harley-Davidson FXDC.
At the moment, the motorcycle was traveling west on Route 4.
Flammia rode on the motorcycle as a passenger. She was taken to UConn Health in Farmington, where doctors there declared her dead, according to the troopers.
Serious wounds were sustained by her rider. To the Hartford Hospital he was taken. The Subaru’s driver was taken to UConn Health with what looks to be a minor injury.
The Subaru and motorcycle had to be tow away from the accident site. There were no additional crash information releases.
Investigation is ongoing.
