James Moore Fargo, ND Obituary News: Four arrested in connection to South Fargo fatal shooting.
In connection with a shooting that killed a young boy last week in south Fargo, police have detained four males.
During a news conference at City Hall on May 31, Fargo police said that Marcus Brian Rexrode, 31, of Fargo, Fabian Edwin Scott, 19, of West Fargo, and Marcus Pierre McCuin, 41, of Fargo had been arrested on suspicion of murder and other felonies in the death of 16-year-old James Moore.
Tommie Trent, a fourth man from Moorhead, is being detained on suspicion of conspiring to deliver marijuana. Trent is 36 years old.
According to Fargo Police Chief David Zibolski, it’s possible that more people will be detained and charged in connection with the tragic shooting.
On May 22, after receiving a complaint of gunfire, police went to the Twin Parks apartment building at 4430 9th Ave. Circle S. Police said they found Moore’s body outside the complex with a revolver close to him.
Police stated they have found two firearms in total during their investigation, but they would not specify which one was used in the incident. Few specifics about the case have been released by investigators, who claim that sharing more information may compromise their work.
