Treveon McDaniel Obituary News: 22- Years-Old Detainee Found Dead After Hanging in Arkansas jail
The death of a prisoner who was discovered in his single-person cell is being looked into by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Treveon McDaniel, 22, was discovered earlier on Thursday in his single-person cell at the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center.
When DBDC staff noticed McDaniel hanging in his cell, they picked him up and began giving him aid.
McDaniel received assistance up until the time that emergency medical personnel took him to Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
McDaniel was transported to the Arkansas State Crime Lab after being declared dead at 12:26 pm.
McDaniel had been detained at the DBDC since May 28 on suspicion of aggravated assault and discharging a handgun from a moving vehicle.
The circumstances surrounding McDaniel’s death are being looked investigated.
The family and friends of McDaniel are being sent their sympathies, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Police report that they “saw the deceased’s head sticking out from under a pile of clothes.
After being accused of concealing the body of an 82-year-old man in her flat, a woman from Forest City is currently in jail.
