Joseph Smetanka Jr. Obituary News – Motorcycle Accident: Man dies after two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle in Amwell Township, Pennsylvania.
In Amwell Township, a man lost his life when the motorbike he was operating collided with the side of a semi-truck.
Joseph Smetanka Jr., 60, was riding his motorcycle on Route 40 when he collided with a tractor trailer that was turning left onto the westbound lanes of Route 40 close to 10 Anderson Drive, according to the Washington County Office of the Coroner.
The collision occurred on Saturday night about 9:39.
After the collision, roughly an hour later, Smetanka was declared dead. He didn’t have a helmet on.
The Pennsylvania State Police are looking into the collision.
