Kurt Pringle Arrest: Victim identified in “tragic” Bundamba murder.
According to Queensland Police, a 21-year-old man has been charged with murder in relation to the death of a 19-year-old woman at Bundamba.
Police were called to a Bundamba address at approximately 9.30pm on February 4, to reports a 19-year-old woman had collapsed.
She was transported in a critical condition to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where she died on the evening of February 5.
Detectives from Ipswich Criminal Investigation Branch and the Homicide Investigation Unit declared the address a crime scene and launched Operation Victor Fluorite to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death.
As a result of investigations, detectives this morning arrested a 21-year-old Dinmore man at a Richlands address.
It will be alleged he is known to the 19-year-old woman, police said.
He has been charged with one count of murder (domestic violence offence) and is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow (February 11).
