Pearland Car Accident: Death toll increases to 5 following horrific rollover crash near Shadow Creek.
According to the Pearland Police Department, authorities have confirmed that a two-car collision near the Shadow Creek Parkway area resulted in the deaths of five persons, including one child.
On Saturday, the incident happened at around 7:28 p.m. The 14700 block of SH 288 southbound Frontage Road in Pearland received a call reporting a serious collision involving two vehicles.
When police arrived, an early investigation revealed that the second vehicle rolled over and four of the five passengers were ejected as a result of a collision with a red car that was going south.
Three of the four people that were ejected, according to officials, were pronounced dead at the spot.
According to Pearland PD, the fourth person and the final passenger in the second automobile were sent to the hospital for additional evaluation.
According to officials, the two other occupants of the red automobile were also sent to the hospital for injury treatment. The driver of the red car was also declared deceased.
Investigations are ongoing.
