Reseda Car Accident: Teen boy killed in violent crash in Porter Ranch; Several in critical condition.
Reseda Boulevard was shut down in both directions between San Fernando Mission Boulevard and Chatsworth Street following the fatal crash on Saturday evening.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, at least nine people were injured and one teenager dead after a multi vehicle crash in Porter Ranch.
The crash happened at approximately 5:52 p.m. near 11001 N Reseda Blvd., police said.
One 17-year-old who was fatally trapped in the wreckage was pronounced dead at the site, according to LAFD, while at least three automobiles were claimed to have been involved in the collision, which involved seven adults and three children.
According to police, the driver of a black Honda CRV carrying four passengers veered into oncoming traffic and struck two other cars. One was a Volkswagen Sedan with a 30-year-old lady inside, and the other was a Toyota Venza with an adult and two kids inside.
According to LAFD, nine victims were sent to local trauma facilities, where six are in critical condition and three are in fair condition.
