Pittsburgh Shooting: John Hornezes Jr Death, 6 Injured in Shooting, Obituary News: According to an online obituary on Friday, October 28, 2022, John Hornezes Jr has passed away unexpectedly. However, cause of death was not disclosed.
Just after noon, a shooting occurred outside of a burial service for John James Hornezes, Jr., one of the three people killed on October 15 in a shooting on Pittsburgh’s North Side. The Destiny of Faith Church on Brighton Street was hosting that service.
According to a source, shots were fired while a vehicle was passing the church. Police said there were “very certainly” multiple shooters even though they were unable to determine where the gunfire came from.
Police stated that they think the shooting was intentional.
