Sevana Car Accident: Jamaica Reggae singer faces prison sentence following crash that killed Ordia Cordiel.

When the case was called before the Westmoreland Circuit Court on Monday, reggae musician Sevana entered a plea of guilty to a charge of death by dangerous driving and now faces a prison term of up to five years. On November 17, she will receive her punishment.

Following an incident in May of last year, the 30-year-old singer, whose actual name is Anna Blake, was accused.

Blake was driving a Honda City when it collided with a Honda Fit traveling the other way while they were both on the Scott Cove main road in Whitehouse, Westmoreland.

Ordia Cordiel, a passenger in the Honda Fit, suffered serious injuries while driving and was taken to the Black River Hospital, where she eventually passed away. The collision also resulted in injuries to Sevana’s brother.
