Steven Tourangeau Car Accident: OPP Officer, school bus driver killed in Woodstock car accident.
According to provincial police, a collision north of Woodstock on Monday morning claimed the lives of both a school bus driver and an OPP officer operating an unmarked car.
At the crossroads of Highway 59 and Oxford County Road 33, they claim that the crash occurred just before seven in the morning.
According to police, there were no children on board the school bus when it crashed.
According to reports, the collision claimed the life of Det. Const. Steven Tourangeau, 35, who was a member of the Perth County OPP detachment. He worked for the Street Crime Unit of the Huron-Perth Community.
“We are deeply saddened over this tragic incident, as two families mourn the loss of their loved ones. I offer my deepest condolences to the families, friends and colleagues affected,” OPP Commissioner Thomas Carrique said in a statement.

Police say they will not be releasing the name of the bus driver out of respect to the family’s privacy.
They announced that London police will be taking over the investigation.
